Sense of Wonder

I really love this image of Eleven, and I was inspired to paint the starry nebula around him because of this amazing painting. Oh, Eleven. You deserved better.

This is NOT a Photoshop filter, every stroke is painted by me. To be clear, the nebula did require some Photoshop filters, such as clouds, but the painting is still NOT made with any oil painting filters.

I painted this a while back, but I wasn’t happy with it, the painting part looked too separate from the nebula part. So I went in and fiddled with the composition a bit and came up with this. I’m a lot happier with it now. ^_^
